In anticipation of God of War III, I finally went ahead and purchased the collection over the past weekend. Instantly I remembered what made this series so exciting to me, with the updated resolutions, smooth framerates and next gen additions such as trophies, I was floored by how the series stood up to the test of time (albeit only five years old). Nevertheless I fell in love with the series all over again, and what amazes me more is the fact that the GOW collection has proven itself to stand shoulder to shoulder with many “next -gen” titles today, impressive feat Sony.
