Using the native real-time directX shader in 3dsMax (2009) is truly a test of patience, and when that runs out you simply forego using it altogether. Thankfully talented programmer Wang Jing has taken it upon himself to create a very flexible and functional real-time directX shader that not only works as expected, but comes with a host of cool features all with no noticable performance hit (bliss!). So download, give it a whirl and create some quality imagery.
